Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group has announced that it and the Chrysler Group have signed a deal for the American carmaker to provide cars to the auto rental company through 2015.
This new agreement is similar to the deals that Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group has with Ford, Mazda and Volkswagen. The Ford agreement is set to expire next year, while the latter two will start providing cars to Dollar Thrifty’s fleet around the same time. Chrysler has been making waves, solidifying and desolving partnerships; for instance, Chrysler will part ways with Ally Financial in April 2013.
Thrifty Car Rental and Dollar Rent A Car have around 280 storefronts in North America. Worldwide, it has close to 1,300 franchises sprinkled across 82 nations.
